Midwest Avengers is the premiere Headbanger Hip Hop crew out of Saint Louis, Missouri. Their music is as at home on both rock and progressive hip-hop stages. The band won "Best Rap/Hip-Hop Artist" three years in a row in the Riverfront Times Music Awards. Their album "Evil Superheroes" was also chosen as one of the "10 Best Local Releases" for 2007.

Originally an all-emcee ensemble, in 2004 emcees and vocalist BC and So'n'So recruited bassist Johnny Prophet, guitarist TK, and drummer Zo to complete the Midwest Avengers. With over 50 new songs and the newly released 13-track CD, “Headbanger Hip Hop” in 2009, Midwest Avengers are reborn, and here to rock.
