OBLIVIOUS TO EVERYONE is an award-winning, internationally touring one-woman show written, directed and performed by Playwright Jessica Lynn Johnson. OTE explores the media’s influence on American society. This 75-minute serio-comedy centers around the character Carrie, a Paris Hilton wannabe who has developed multiple personalities due to her unhealthy obsession with pop-culture. Rapidly flipping identities like TV stations, the audience will discover just how oblivious this LA bombshell really is. Johnson portrays a slew of characters of different age, sex, and race as a means to examine the influential stereotypes, prejudices, and pressures prevalent in American media.

After receiving excellent reviews, Jessica Lynn Johnson's solo comedy, OBLIVIOUS TO EVERYONE, enjoyed an extended off-broadway run at NYC’s prestigious Theatre Row on 42nd Street, was seen in the NYC Fringe Festival, the NYC Samuel French Festival, the Kansas City Fringe Festival, was featured on FOX 5 NEWS, and was performed for the students of Kansas State University, as well as Berkley College and Williams College where Ms. Johnson was awarded BEST NATIONAL SOLO ARTIST. OTE will be seen this fall in NYC's Sola Voce Festival and in Germany as part of the Monodrama Festival.
